We are currently looking for a Purchaser to join our Purchasing team at the Terus head office located in Surrey, British Columbia. The incumbent will be reporting to the Purchasing Manager and working directly with head office and the operations team. You are well versed in the field of purchasing. You possess between 3 to 6 years of related experience, preferably in the construction industry. You are a team player paired with strong communication skills and business expertise. You are customer service oriented and have good problem solving abilities. RESPONSIBILITIES Establish and develop strong partnership with the management teams and business relationship with the local /regional suppliers. Optimize the purchasing power of the group with regards to procurement of materials and parts. Implement the proper purchasing policies and procedures that will support the operations.
